Community Outreach

Michaelides and Vermaas not only care about treating your hearing needs but care deeply about our community by providing services on site.

• Community health education classes covering topics like hearing, hearing loss, hearing aids, tinnitus and hearing loss prevention.
• Monthly visits to retirement homes to assist people with their hearing aids.
• Training of personnel at retirement homes to be able to assist their residents with their hearing aids.
• Visits to far away towns to assist the elderly who can no longer travel to our practice.
• “Gift to Hear” project where we supply second hand/ donated hearing aids to the underprivileged.
